Performance

Where TD4-SE is a 2179cc in-line 4cylinder diesel engine that can produce a maximum power of 150PS @ 4000rpm and a maximum torque of 420NM @ 1750 rpm, the SD4-HSE though is also 2179cc in-line 4 cylinder diesel engines but this version produces 190 PS @ 3500rpm and a torque of 420NM @ 1750rpm. The Land Rover Freelander 2 has a 6 speed automatic gearbox that is made more powerful with command shift technology.

Handling
Land Rover Freelander 2 is one of the best driving SUVs available in the Indian market. It has a stiff chassis which gives amazing ride quality. The Freelander 2 absorbs almost every terrain and keeps the occupants very comfortable in every situation. Drive over everything and its pliant tall springs keep the car stable at every moment. The Freelander 2 has McPherson struts suspension at the front and multi-link struts at the rear. The ride of the Freelander is very composed and doesn’t wobble much. Safety features like cornering brake control, electronic traction control and dynamic stability control also make it to the Indian models.
